Mission statement

The International Diverse Youth Organisation responds to the United Nations Youth2030 Strategy: “work with and for young people across its three pillars – peace and security, human rights, and sustainable development”.

Our Mission

We envisage achieving the UN’s Youth2030 strategy’s three pillars—peace and security, human rights, and sustainable development—and promoting “Engagement, Enhancement, and Empowerment” for youth in society.

Our Vision

To “Embrace Diversity For Sustainability”, we aspire to strengthen diverse youth’s capacity in the new phase of globalisation by organising activities to promote innovative collaboration and conducting youth-related research for international advocacy.

Our Values

We treasure values of openness, inclusion, diversity, innovation, and creativity that will benefit youth with better, sustainable development.

“Young people should be at the forefront of global change and innovation. Empowered, they can be key agents for development and peace,” said Kofi Annan, the seventh secretary-general of the United Nations.

Based in Hong Kong, the establishment of the International Diverse Youth Organisation serves the premise that youth should be capable of demonstrating their potential without limitations or hesitations for themselves, their families, and the social good.

The age of globalisation brings diverse people together but also challenges finding a common ground of living regarding culture, religion, etc. Still, a sustainable future is in the hands of all the youth in the world to safeguard.

We call for an open youth policy framework with necessary welfare support for diverse youth in Hong Kong and other regions via our activities and research to attain “engagement, enhancement, and empowerment” and brighten their future vision.
